We are happy to announce our new project, the production of two short educational videos for the Mediterranean Institute for Nature and Anthropos.
MedINA (https://med-ina.org/) is running two projects focusing in the cheese and the bread. Both of these products have significant cultural value associated with the dietary and food-producing identity of local communities and the popular food culture of modern Greece.
Our goal is the promotion of traditional knowledge regarding the identities symbolic uses that bread and cheese carry as products, as well as the raise of awareness on the intangible cultural heritage of the country.
In order to achieve this goal we will be showcasing the production and consumption process of cheese and bread in Lemnos. Below you can see a small sample of our work during the first visit on the island.
