Mariana Pote & Frerk Froböse
Mariana Pote and Frerk Froböse, both in their mid-twenties, introduce themselves as passionate about anthropology and documentary films. They met in Oxford while doing their MSc’s in the anthropology department, where Mariana focused on material anthropology and Frerk on visual anthropology. Since then they have created PÉPOSTO, a production company based in Lisbon, which strives to make films rooted in research and research social phenomena through film. People-&-Pastéis is their first film. In their future projects they intend to continue with the core mission of using research to render different social realities more visible to a wider audience.
