In the film Rooms with a view, we observe a building in the heart of Athens transforming from a space traditionally occupied by goldsmiths into a luxurious boutique hotel. During our stay we come to experience three different levels of coexistence.
Nickolas Papadimitriou
Nickolas Papadimitriou is a documentary filmmaker based in Athens, Greece. He has graduated from the department of Social Anthropology at Panteion University as well as from the Digital Film Making program of SAE Institute. In 2020 he graduated with honors from the master’s program of Cultural Technology and Communication at The University of the Aegean. His main interests focus on the topics of urban space, labor, and the body.
Nikoleta Paraschi
Nikoleta Paraschi is a Greek filmmaker, mostly interested in documentary production. With an educational background on Greek Language and Literature (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) she continued her studies in filmmaking and she graduated with honors from the department of Fine Arts (University of Greenwich). She also holds a master’s honors degree in Cultural Technology and Communication (University of Aegean). Her main interests focus on topics of space, memory and identity.
