Angelos, an elderly café owner in the center of Athens, is at the crossroads trying to decide whether to close his café. The film observes Angelos’ daily life and his interactions with patrons, thus painting a vivid yet marginal Athenian microcosm.

Magda Alexandri and Anna Chrysanthakopoulou are involved in documentary making and are motivated by ordinary people’s stories which encapsulate a wide variety of social issues. Through an observational gaze, they are looking for ways to capture everyday life, the conditions that determine it and the relationships that blossom through it. They live and work in Athens.
