The documentary follows Maria’s everyday life in Athens. Triggered by helicopters flying above her backyard, Maria travels back to her childhood and recalls memories of her past. As she is sharing her experiences, aspects of the female identity and health issues are manifested through her own images and words.
Katerina Zagka
Katerina Zagka is a social anthropologist and cinematographer based in Athens, Greece. After graduating from Social Anthropology, she completed an educational programme about the History of Documentary to approach the art of filming. Her work so far revolves around everyday life, female identity, and the human body as a source of expression. She’s currently studying Culture and Documentary Film Production at the University of Aegean.
