For centuries, the lagoon of Mesologgi-Aitoliko supplies with food and gives work to a large part of the local population, forming a unique natural and cultural landscape. The film is an effort to document the daily life of the fishermen at the Komma “ivari”, through their labour and their relationship with the unique space of the lagoon.

Loukas Koubouris

Loukas Koubouris has graduated from the  department of Social Anthropology at Panteion University. Since 2015, he has worked in various cinema productions, while he has directed two ethnographic documentaries.

Nickolas Papadimitriou

Nickolas Papadimitriou is a documentary filmmaker based in Athens, Greece. He has graduated from the department of Social Anthropology at Panteion University as well as from the Digital Film Making program of SAE Institute. In 2020 he graduated with honors from the master’s program of Cultural Technology and Communication at The University of the Aegean. His main interests focus on the topics of urban space, labor, and the body.
