Janina Rasch

Janina Rasch, born 1985 in Flensburg, studiedLiterature and Media Science, Sociology and Psychology at the CAU in Kiel. In cooperation with the House of Documentary Film in Stuttgart, she organizes documentary film industry meetings DOKVILLE and founds the monthly documentary film series YoungDOK. She worked at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg as a producer on two documentary films and became a team member of 18frames film + medienproduktion in 2014. In the same year, she visited a Documentary Masterschool in Münster where she developed the idea which finally led to Faltenrock in cooperation with Leonie Kock. Faltenrock is her documentary debut.
