Matheo Yamalakis

Matheo Yamalakis (1931-2021) was a Greek filmmaker and painter. Coming from Crete, he lived in Stockholm for over 50 years. He studied Art in Germany and worked as a freelance collaborator for Swedish Television (SR), traveling around the world and producing more than 50 short and feature-length documentaries from the mid-1960s onward. His paintings have been presented in more than 20 art exhibitions in Sweden, Greece, Germany, and France.
