Davide Morandini

Davide Morandini and Matteo Keffer have been working closely together for the last two years. Coming from different backgrounds like social sciences journalism and cinema, their collaboration started in 2011, while shooting “”Bulaq””, a short documentary film focusing on the struggle against demolitions and evictions of a central Cairo neighbourhood, during the first months of the ‘Egyptian Spring’. They mainly focus on underreported stories and social issues such as urban speculation in the Roman suburbs as in “”Comprensorio Casilino”” (2012), or citizenship rights in Italy as in “”Italeñas”” (2013).
