On the evening of Tuesday the 25th, the 16th Ethnofest premiered with the first nationwide screening of the documentary Circo!
We had the pleasure of welcoming the film’s director, Lamia Chraibi, who answered questions from the audience and spoke about her many years of filming experience, highlighting the importance of building trust and familiarity throughout the making of a documentary.
The discussion was coordinated and interpreted by Gely Mademli.
Before the screening, the Gender Network of Amnesty International – Greek Section delivered a valuable and timely address on the occasion of November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
After the screening, we enjoyed unique treats from Taos Brewing, adding a festive note to the evening.
