The Rain Memory

“La memoria de la Lluvia” is a film that traces back indigenous historical memory from the voices of the Mapuche people in Argentine Patagonia. Scattered, silenced and forgotten voices that resurface on different paths, but meet at a common point: the need for the indigenous people to organize.

Paulo Campano

Paulo Campano studied Film Direction (University of Buenos Aires) and Anthropological Sciences at the School of Humanities of the University of Buenos Aires. He is a documentary filmmaker whose work focuses on issues related to indigenous peoples, slum dwellers and Latin American history.
