For many years, “Porte de Clichy”, a district on the outskirts of Paris, has undergone an unprecedented urban metamorphosis. In this rapidly changing district, we discover moments in the lives of a few inhabitants, drawing a portrait of a neighborhood and an era.
Sébastien Marziniak
Sébastien Marziniak graduated from the “documentary workshop” of the Parisian film school FEMIS in 2013 and began shooting “Porte de Clichy – People Around”, a feature-length documentary film about a Paris neighbourhood undergoing an urban metamorphosis. He has also directed the short documentary “Night Butterflies”(2011) and the short fiction film “Elle” (2002), selected in several international festivals. He has also worked as an assistant-director of fiction for the past twenty years.
