Andreas Kleanthous

Andreas Kleanthous was born in the troubled island of Cyprus where he developed from early on a passion for social and political issues regarding political participation and the relationship of ethnic groups. As a borderline millennial, he was also fascinated by technological advancement, a fact that was materialized in his involvement in different aspects of filmmaking as well as his undergraduate thesis : “Hackers Against The Spectacle”.

Christina Pappa

Christina Pappa studied Social Anthropology and History at the University of the Aegean and was a 2022 student at the Ethnofest Summer School. Her areas of interest are visual anthropology, gender studies and transnational mobility. She wants to explore more the visual anthropology worlds and its practices, such as ethnographic cinema.

Vanessa Macedo

Vanessa Macedo has a Masters in Documentary Filmmaking from The University of Melbourne. She is based in Berlin where she teaches kids and youth participatory photography and video. She is passionate on issues of social and environmental justice.
