Kipaki Tsamadou (Small Garden in Tsamadou Str.) is a squat. The space emerged where the ruins of a house used to be. The film explores the notion of public space in the context of the current economic, social and political conditions in Athens, Greece. Located in Exarchia, this garden is linked to the Steki Metanaston, a migrants’ social centre in which locals and migrants create networks in order to find ways to improve their lives and contribute to society. During their assemblies they address social and political issues, while they often get involved in activism and the Anti-racist Movement.
