Islam’s Wedding… and Other Bedouin Stories form Naqab

Islam, who is getting married at an “advanced” age (25), and other Arab Bedouins from the South of Israel, attempt to give shape to viable compromises between their semi-nomadic past and their nearly-ghettoised present. Palestinian struggle and Israeli citizenship, Islam and freedom (but also… WhatsApp), collective identity and personal quests, all mingle and clash in an uncertain path to the future.
