Eydi Sanamé Flores
Director Eydi Sanamé Flores started to make short films about art and religion in her home country, Cuba, after changing career from Journalism to Non-fiction storytelling. Then, she went on to study the Ethnographic and Documentary Film MA at University College London (UCL) thanks to a scholarship. Her most recent work combines observational filmmaking as well as film essay to portray both places and social dynamics within them. Currently, she is working on a docu-series that explores the idea of spirituality as a vessel for history, gender, race and religion.
