Young Iason is preparing for a public performance with his father’s dance association while continuing to serve in their family café in Kallithea, Athens. The film follows Iason’s passion and joy for dancing and gives a glimpse into the coming-of-age of a young man who juggles heritage and following in his father’s footsteps.

Emine Busra Unluonen is an anthropology Ph.D. candidate at the GC, CUNY. She is interested in combining traditional methods of ethnography with the speculative design approach and arts-based inquiry to investigate emergent ethico-political imaginations.
Ingvild Jacobsen
Ingvild Jacobsen is a master’s student in Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies at KU Leuven in Belgium. Her research interests move across art and cultural heritage, decolonisation, and environmental humanities.
Leonie de Bruin
Leonie de Bruin (1994) works as a visual artist and is a current Master’s student in Cultural and Social Anthropology, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She is interested in combining both fields and does this by taking a phenomenological, arts-based approach with a focus on the sensitive and tactile.
