Marie Caroline Gippert

Marie Caroline Gippert is an independant anthropologist and activist. She holds a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Freiburg (BA) and in Social and Cultural Anthropology from Freie University Berlin (MA). Her focus includes decolonial feminism(s), sound, migration and protest. Shaped by the desire towards bridging activism and academia, she has worked and researched in the area of feminism and migration in Istanbul and Berlin. Currently, she follows her interest to broaden her experience in visual anthropology.
