Konstantinos Aivaliotis

Konstantinos Aivaliotis is documentary and film festival expert (PhD Panteion University, MA Goldsmiths College) holding degrees in socio-cultural anthropology, visual Anthropology and anthropology of education. His research and work focuses on creative and ethnographic documentary, film festivals and film markets adopting an interdisciplinary approach to the study of cultural industries. Since 2015 he has produced more than 10 short and medium-length documentaries and directed 4 short documentaries. In 2023 completes his first feature length documantery as producer. From 2008 to 2016 Konstantinos Aivaliotis was programmer at AIFF ‘Opening Nights’, and from 2017-2020 he served as director of promotion at the Greek Film Centre. Today he is the director and a founding member of Ethnofest organization and the titular festival and postdoctoral researcher at University of Aegean where he teaches history and theory of documentary and audiovisual heritage.
