Eszter Kalman

Eszter Kálmán (she/her) is currently a master’s student in Visual Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam. Her work explores how care, solidarity, and shared creation become forms of resistance and a source of community. Through collaborative filmmaking and visual ethnography, she investigates how people challenge systems of power and imagine alternative ways of living. Her projects, ranging from exploring women’s anger as a generative force to grassroots self-organisation, reflect an ongoing search for collective strength, belonging, and care as political practice.
