Her work centers around identity, intimacy, memory, and social sensibility. Experimenting with the genre of documentary filmmaking, she merges ethnography with poetry, symbolism, and experimental soundscapes to create intimate portraits of our relationship with ourselves, each other, and nature.
She is currently finishing her film There, where the rays of the sun will not reach..., for which she revisited part of her own family history among the indigenous Sámi in Jåhkåmåhkke, Sweden. There, she examined light as a social agent by looking at the phenomenon of the Midnight Sun and the role of the mythological in social relations and everyday routines.
