Internship
Ethnofest, operates as an internship host for university students in Greece and abroad.
After reading about the descriptions of the different internship positions, students should contact us for availability through the Central Support System for University Internships (Atlas / http://atlas.grnet.gr/) to start the process. Our organization is open for individual internships both from Greece and abroad.
The duration of the internship depends on the respective university and internship programme. Any change in the period can be made by arrangement.
Read below the general description of the available internships. The responsibilities and duties of each position can be differentiated and/or combined depending on the resume and qualifications of each candidate. For each offered internship position, 1 to 2 people can be employed per period.
* Excellent knowledge of English is required for all internships
Positions Description:
Department of Administration
Financial Support Assistant (Position is open all year long)
Indicatively, responsibilities include support for the following procedures: Budgeting and Monitoring, Cash flow control, Expenses sheet, Preparation of financial reports, Graphic design of reports.
Coordination Assistant (Position is open all year long)
Indicatively, responsibilities include support for the following procedures: Email monitoring, Organisation and archiving, Writing and translating texts.
Database Assistant (Position is open from September – December)
Indicatively, responsibilities include support for the following procedures: Database editing, Updating web page content.
Communication Department
Communication Assistant (Position is open from September – December)
Indicatively, responsibilities include support for the following procedures: Managing communication tools → managing Ethnofest social networks and communication platforms (Facebook / Instagram / Linkedin / Website), Collecting and analysing data from social media, Producing content and / or translating texts.
Festival Department
Program Coordination Assistant (Position is open from May to December)
Indicatively, responsibilities include support for the following procedures: Monitoring part of the submissions (films) and their evaluation, Organising the weekly program of the festival (screenings and parallel events), Cinema Hall Managing.
Production Assistant (Position is open from September – December)
Indicatively, responsibilities include support for the following procedures: Organisation and setting up of the venues that host the festival events, Reception and service of invited directors and speakers (hospitality), Reception and service of the public (useful information about the festival), Merchandise Managing.
Summer School Production Department
Coordination Assistant (Position is open every July)
Indicatively, responsibilities include support for the following procedures: Communication with the lecturers of the Summer School, Information and daily coordination of the participants, Communication with the accommodation and hosting venues of the participants such as the hotel, restaurants, museums, cultural organizations and other places that are planned to visit as a group, Photo documenting of Summer School’s activities for the Ethnofest archive.
