Through the nostalgic blend of childhood and contemporary images of two young women, a shared coming-of-age story unfolds, from the initial realization to the gradual acceptance of mental struggle. The filming process serves as a tool for connecting the narrative, involving the director as a third narrative voice.
Niki Rousaki
From a young age, Niki Rousaki has loved writing and creating stories. Her undergraduate degree in Journalism (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, 2021) deepened her engagement with research, and her first significant encounter with cinema came through the Master’s program in Culture and Documentary Production (Aegean University, 2023). The program concluded with the presentation of her short film Drama Queens as part of her thesis, highlighting her core favorite themes: personal experience, human relationships, and the production of art.
