My Name is Prosfygika

This story follows the 79-year old Chrisoula, who has spent all her life in the Refugee Houses of Prosfygika in Athens. Through her memories, dreams and hopes we are going on a journey through the history of modern Greece, rising up questions about human relations, modern society and its future. As a witness of the Greek Civil War in the 40s and the 10-year long institutional struggle of the neighborhood against the government’s wish to demolish the area, Chrisoula unravels the impact of historical time on her personal life and memories, and shows us the development of reality at a place in time.
